Job Desc Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in aftersales vehicle service, diagnostics and troubleshooting preferably in OEM dealerships/workshops.Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in automotive diagnostic content development. o Requirement specification for Automotive Aftersales & Aftermarket diagnostic tester software. o End to end diagnostic content creation for all automotive systems e.g., engine management, electric & hybrid systems, brake control, infotainment, ADAS, transmission, HVAC, airbags etc. o Understanding the requirement from OEM Specifications & Licensed data Analysis. o Simulation test of authored diagnostic content using both virtual setup & Vehicle testing. o Design & creation of workflow and test sequences using IDEs like BDX or Grade-X o Evaluation of OE diagnostic data, derivation of useful insights and implementing the same in target tester. o Verification and validation of authored diagnostic content on the vehicle. o Thorough review the deliverables and provide recommendations. o Continuous learning and self-development. o Closely interact with software engineering team and technical experts from global teams.Must Have Skills o Strong vehicle system knowledge, including the sub-systems and components. o Must have proven ability to diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle and make it roadworthy. o Ability to understand OE system description, service & repair manuals. o Ability to independently handle diagnostic testers. o Ability to handle diagnostic testers like VIDA, Xentry, GDS, ADT, SDT-II, DiagBox, HDS, Launch, Autel, G-Scan, Zenith etc. o Good knowledge on wiring diagrams and conventions. o Good knowledge of Bosch Aftermarket Diagnostic Tool - ESI [tronic]. o Sound knowledge on CAN, CAN FD, DoIP, UDS, J1939. o Good knowledge of tools like SVN, Github, MFALM, JIRA, BDX, Grade-X, IMSIS+, ODX Studio. o Experience with analyzer & simulation tools from Vector or Samtec e.g., HSX, HS+ etc. Good to have Skills o Good to have knowledge / experience in Programming languages. o Good to have exposure in Automation using Python. o Good to have knowledge in HTML.
