Key Responsibilities: 1. Vehicle Inspection: Inspect vehicles to diagnose problems and determine repair needs. 2. Repairs and Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on vehicles. 3. Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and diagnose complex problems using technical manuals and equipment. 4. Component Replacement: Replace faulty components, such as engines, transmissions, or brakes. 5. Test Drive: Test drive vehicles to ensure repairs are completed correctly. 6. Customer Communication: Communicate with customers to explain repairs, provide estimates, and answer questions. 7. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and inspections. Additional Responsibilities: 1. Staying Updated: Stay current with new technologies, tools, and techniques. 2. Safety Protocols: Follow safety protocols and guidelines when working with hazardous materials or equipment. 3. Quality Control: Ensure high-quality workmanship and attention to detail. Essential Skills: 1. Technical Knowledge: Knowledge of vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems. 2. Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex problems. 3. Hand Tool Proficiency: Proficiency with hand tools and equipment. 4. Communication: Good communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues. As an Automobile Technician, the role requires technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail to diagnose and repair vehicles efficiently and effectively.
