Job Description

We are seeking a skilled

Automation Test Engineer

with expertise in

TypeScript

to design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks. You will collaborate closely with developers, QA teams, and product managers to ensure high-quality software delivery through robust automation practices.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain

automation test scripts

using

TypeScript

.



Work with frameworks such as

Playwright

,

Cypress

, or

Protractor

.



Integrate automated tests into

CI/CD pipelines. Example-

Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps.



Perform

functional, regression, API, and UI testing

.



Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.



Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with developers to resolve issues.



Maintain test documentation and ensure traceability of requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong proficiency in

TypeScript

and JavaScript.



Hands-on experience with

automation frameworks

Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, etc.



Knowledge of

BDD or TDD

methodologies Cucumber, Mocha, Jest.



Experience with

REST API testing

Postman, SuperTest, etc.



Familiarity with

Git

and version control workflows.



Understanding of

Agile or Scrum

development processes.



Preferred Skills



Experience with

cloud-based testing platforms

BrowserStack, Sauce Labs.



Knowledge of

performance testing

tools JMeter, k6.



Exposure to

containerization

Docker, Kubernetes.
