Technical Specialist – Automation Testing

This role requires a software professional with deep technical expertise and strong hands on for developing innovative solutions. Role Specific Responsibilities

As an Assistant manager, you will contribute hands on to all day-to-day development activities. You’ll closely work with the Managers and team members to tackle development, analysis, understanding requirements and other issues. This would also require you to be involved in all stages of development (planning, designing, development, deployment, testing etc.). But that’s just the start; we’ll also expect you to:

• Conduct requirements analysis to identify various test scenarios.

• Identify, document and report issues to management and support groups as early as possible in software development lifecycle.

• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.

• Create, execute and manage test cases in order to provide maximum coverage.

• Design, develop and execute test plans according to business requirements.

• Communicate comprehensive test execution results with findings, to Project team.

• Report and verify bugs as part of new features testing and regression testing.

• Consistently contribute to improvements in terms of processes and technologies.

• Responsible for performing compatibility testing on new software configurations prior to its release to end users.

• Ensure the quality and low bug rates of code released into production.

• Responsible for successful test execution and alerting team leads and managers of obstacles and risks.

• Add / Update tasks in Azure DevOps and other tracking tools used in the projects.

• Collaborate with different teams to understand automation needs and implement the same
• Gather functional requirements related to test automation and provide estimates for scope of work.
• Creating appropriate utilities, and automation scripts that assist teams in functional testing and to create test data.
• Attend regular project calls and update test activity status to the project team.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or other technical or scientific field.

Years of Experience: 7+

Location: Hyderabad Work timings: 11AM to 8PM

Qualifications

• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans, test cases and test results.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
• Extensive experience in web applications testing.
• Experience in using test management and bug tracking tools.
• Expertise in software testing fundamentals and test techniques.
• Being a team player who can deliver in a high pressure and high demanding environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Should be self-motivated and Ready to take ownership of the assigned work
• TOSCA Automation Experience with framework development.
• TOSCA AS1-AS2 Certification an added advantage.
• Experienced in defining, designing, creating, & executing tests in cross browser compatibility.
• Quick learners and excellent analytical skills.
