We are seeking a

detail-oriented Automation Tester

to join our dynamic QA team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in

automated testing

and a good grasp of

manual testing principles

. This role requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of testing frameworks, and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.

Design, develop, and maintain

automated test scripts

using tools such as

Selenium, JUnit, TestNG

, or similar. Collaborate with the QA team to

convert manual test cases into automated test suites

. Review and analyse system specifications to create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases. Execute both

automated and manual test cases

and evaluate the results. Identify, record, and track bugs using bug tracking tools (e.g.,

JIRA, Bugzilla

). Work closely with developers and stakeholders to

reproduce, debug, and resolve issues

. Conduct

regression testing

through automation after code changes and enhancements. Participate in

code reviews

and

test plan reviews

, providing feedback to improve test quality and coverage. Ensure testing aligns with industry

quality standards

and best practices. Continuously

improve test automation frameworks

, scripts, and processes. Maintain clear

documentation

of automation processes and communicate effectively with the QA team.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

2-3 years of hands-on experience in automation testing

. Strong experience with

automation frameworks and tools

(e.g.,

Selenium WebDriver, JUnit, TestNG, Maven, Jenkins

). Familiarity with

API testing

tools like Postman or RestAssured is a plus. Strong understanding of

SDLC and STLC

. Experience with

version control systems

(e.g., Git). Excellent

analytical and problem-solving skills

. Proficient in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive

test cases

and

test scripts

. Strong

communication skills

and a collaborative mindset.
