We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented

Automation Test Engineer

with hands-on experience in

Java

,

SQL

, and

Selenium Scripting

using

TestNG

and

BDD Cucumber

frameworks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining a robust automation testing framework, ensuring high-quality software delivery through effective test case management, defect tracking, and integration with CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and select automation test cases based on application requirements. Design and document the automation test strategy aligned with project goals. Create and maintain a comprehensive automation test plan. Set up and configure the Selenium Test Environment (STE). Develop, implement, and maintain an automation testing framework. Create, enhance, debug, and execute automation test cases. Collaborate with development and QA teams to monitor and drive the defect management process. Manage test case updates in response to changing requirements. Execute regression tests as part of release cycles. Integrate automated tests with

CI/CD pipelines

for continuous testing and deployment.

Required Skills & Experience:

Strong hands-on experience in

Java programming

for test automation. Proficient in

SQL

for backend data validation. Solid experience in

Selenium WebDriver

for automation testing. Experience with

TestNG

and

BDD Cucumber

frameworks. Understanding of automation frameworks (data-driven, keyword-driven, hybrid). Experience with CI/CD tools such as

Jenkins

,

GitLab CI

, or similar. Familiarity with defect management tools (e.g.,

JIRA

,

Bugzilla

). Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Knowledge of REST API testing and tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured). Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms or Docker-based test execution.
Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹5,000.00 - ?10,000.00 per day
