Detailed JD :
1. Test Strategy and Planning
o
Develop Test Strategies: Support to create comprehensive test strategies that include automation for Pega and React applications, ensuring coverage of all critical functionality.
o
Test Planning: Define and manage test plans, ensuring that test objectives, strategies, scope, and deliverables are clear and achievable.
o
Tool Selection: Evaluate and select appropriate tools and frameworks for test automation based on project requirements and existing technology stack (e.g., Selenium, Cucumber, Rest Assured etc.).
2. Test Design and Development
o
Automation Frameworks: Design and implement robust, scalable, and maintainable test automation frameworks tailored for Pega and React applications.: Design and implement robust, scalable, and maintainable test automation frameworks tailored for Pega and React applications.

Test Scripts Development: Write, maintain, and optimize test scripts for both Pega (using Pega-specific tools or general automation tools) and React (using tools like Selenium, Java, Cucumber etc.).

Reusable Components: Develop reusable and modular test components to enhance efficiency and reduce maintenance effort.

3. Quality Assurance and Testing
o
Integration Testing: Ensure integration tests are thorough and validate the interactions between Pega and React components.
o
Regression Testing: Implement and maintain automated regression test suites to ensure existing functionality remains unaffected by new changes.

4. Collaboration and Communication
o
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, provide feedback, and ensure alignment on testing strategies.
o
Knowledge Sharing: Mentor and guide testers in Agile teams, promoting best practices and continuous improvement in test automation processes.
o
Reporting: Provide clear and concise reports on test results, coverage, and overall quality status to project stakeholders.

5. Continuous Improvement
o
Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve testing processes, incorporating feedback, new tools, and industry best practices.

Stay Updated: Keep up to date with the latest trends and advancements in test automation, Pega development, and React development.
o
Innovation: Introduce new testing methodologies and tools that can improve efficiency, accuracy, and coverage.

6. Pega-Specific Responsibilities
o
Pega Best Practices: Apply Pega best practices for test automation, ensuring tests are aligned with Pega's guardrails and guidelines.

7. React-Specific Responsibilities
o
Component Testing: Write automated tests for React components, ensuring they render correctly, and handle user interactions as expected.
o
UI/UX Testing: Validate that the user interface and user experience meet the design specifications and provide a seamless experience across different devices and browsers.

8. DevOps and CI/CD Integration
o
CI/CD Pipelines: Integrate automated tests into continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to ensure tests are run automatically with each build and deployment. Should aware of branching strategy and best practices.

Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor the test automation infrastructure and scripts, ensuring they are up-to-date and functioning correctly within the CI/CD pipeline.
