Senior Test Automation EngineerBangalore/Gurgaon, IndiaWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Test Automation Engineer to join our Global Technology team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in automation testing, an effective understanding of software development life cycles, and a passion for ensuring the highest quality in our products. You will be responsible for designing, developing,executing and maintaining automated test scripts.What youll be DOINGWhat will your essential responsibilities include?xc2xb7 Develop and implement automated test strategies and frameworks to ensure high-quality software delivery.xc2xb7 Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand system requirements and translate them into effective test cases.xc2xb7 Design, write, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and programming languages.xc2xb7 Execute automated tests, analyze results, and report defects in a clear and concise manner.xc2xb7 Continuously improve the testing process by identifying areas for automation and enhancement.xc2xb7 Mentor and guide junior test engineers in best practices for test automation and quality assurance.xc2xb7 Collaborate and Contribute towards Testing Centre of Excellence initiativesxc2xb7 Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to test automation.xc2xb7 Setup and manage the test infrastructure using devops tools such as Dockers, Kuberenetes etcxc2xb7 Create the test pipelines in CI/CD tools such as Harness, Teamcity.You will report to Test & Release COE Lead.QualificationsWhat you will BRINGWere looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:Required Skills and Abilities:xc2xb7 Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience, with a focus on test automation.xc2xb7 Proficiency in programming languages such as Java , Python , Javascript.xc2xb7 Experience with CI/CD tools (AzD, Bamboo, Harness, Jenkins, etc.).xc2xb7 Proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium , Playwright, UFT ,RestAssured etcxc2xb7 Experience in the frameworks and build tools such as TestNG , Junit, Cucumber. Maven , Gradlexc2xb7 Familiarity with JIRA & JIRA X-Ray, Azure, GHE, JFrog/Nexus Artifactory.xc2xb7 Eagerness to learn and adapt to new test automation technologies and tools of devops based tools such as Docker , Kuberenetes . openshift.xc2xb7 Experience with cloud services and platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for testing and deployment.Desired Skills and Abilities:xc2xb7 Working knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter , Gatling etc will be an advantage.xc2xb7 Excellent understanding of Scrum Agile methodology and experience working in a Scrum team.xc2xb7 Adaptable to new test automation strategies, tools, and technologies; comfortable with change.xc2xb7 Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate test automation goals and influence decisions.xc2xb7 Proven ability to establish and maintain effective relationships to achieve test automation goals.xc2xb7 Ability to effectively integrate disparate test automation processes and technologies.xc2xb7 Proven planning and organizational skills, including workload prioritization and realistic timescales.Who WE areAXA XL, the P&C and specialty risk division of AXA, is known for solving complex risks.
