About our Line of BusinessThe Microgrid business is core to Schneider Electric's strategy and is one of the pillars of its Sustainability, Digitization and Electrification agenda. Microgrids are key to the transformation and reshaping of the global Energy landscape to build more cost effective, sustainable and resilient energy systems supporting the global Energy transition.The Microgrid Line of Business is providing the software, the architectures and the necessary system components to allow Commercial and Industrial customers to design, build, operate and maintain their distributed energy resources in grid or off grid connected mode, enabling them to reach their energy sustainability, Net-zero and resilience objectives in a profitable manner.About the roleThis role has the primary responsibility to drive growth of MicroGrid business through innovative algorithms delivery contribution. The incumbent will be accountable to deliver algorithms and to enrich the existing offer embedded within PLC as well as test and validation of microgrid controller through simulation means.This role will report to the Microgrid R&D Manager. This role will work in collaboration with a global team of architects, marketing, internal and external stakeholders.Your ResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible to:

• Automation development
• Develop algorithms within PLC following backlog managed by the technical product owner
• Ensure that the use cases are considered within the EMB configuration tools
• Ensure that the development is compliant with EMA and DER interface
• Develop new libraries of components

• Functional verification test

+ Ensure the functional verification test from end to end with simulation means

• Convergence

+ Convergence test and verification with new technologies such as Automation expert

• Documentation

+ Ensure delivery of documentation and training materialsQualificationsYour profile

• You must have passion for Sustainability, Energy Efficiency & scaling up the business. You should be excited by the opportunity to make a significant impact in business creation (marketing/digital) with a strong value prop and global brand.
• English spoken fluently
• 5Y+ Experience in Energy Automation & electrical distribution.
• PLC programming
• Interest and Knowledge in Microgrid and New energy landscape
• Agility in a rapidly changing environment
• Curious with ability to learn continuously
• Automation expert is a plus
