Electrical & Automation Maintenance Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Troubleshoot electrical and automation issues in Special Purpose Machines (SPMs). Diagnose and resolve faults in PLC-based machines (Delta & Siemens). Perform basic analysis of machine errors to identify the root cause. Handle breakdown maintenance for CNC VMCs and CNC Lathes. Read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams, PLC ladder logic, and machine manuals. Inspect, test, and replace sensors, actuators, relays, drives, and control components. Ensure minimal machine downtime through quick and accurate fault isolation.

Preferred Skills & Experience

Experience with PLC troubleshooting (Delta, Siemens etc). Familiarity with CNC controller fault codes and diagnostics. Ability to work on control panels, wiring, and low-voltage systems. Basic understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Comfort using multimeters, continuity testers, and other diagnostic tools. Ability to coordinate with machine vendors or service engineers when required.

Future/Additional Responsibility

Programming, setup, and maintenance of collaborative robots (cobots).

Qualifications

Diploma/Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field. 2-5 years of experience in industrial machine maintenance preferred.
