Your team

This role, reporting to Quality Assurance Lead, will interact with QA Leads, Development Managers, Technical Leads and Business leads. This role is responsible for successful delivery of Change the Bank and Run the Bank testing engagements. Substantial experience with Quality Control methodology is required, specifically requirements/testing traceability, test planning, test execution, defect management, and project level reporting. Candidate must have a proven track record with excellent communication skills, and have solid knowledge of standard testing practices, tools and reporting. In addition, candidate must have experience in Wealth Management applications which includes Client facing, Banking, FA facing, and Mobile applications.

Your expertise

You have:
- 10+ years of experience of testing complex systems and business flows
- full understanding of SDLC, QA and Defect Lifecycle
- strong Java / VBScript programming experience
- automation experience using various tools preferably Selenium, Cucumber
- experience with Test data identification & creation
- exposure to test management tools (e.g. JIRA, Quality Centre)
- experience in building automation frameworks
- Working experience on various CI tools

You are:
- assists/writes high level test strategies with input from the Dev Feature Lead and/or business and derives time estimates
- leverage automated testing solutions within the team and projects
- able to manage a small team of testers within local, onshore and nearshore locations (with aid of QA manager)
- manage relationships with development and business stakeholders
- engage proactively with QA Manager regarding project statuses, resourcing, risks
- reporting to QA manager on a weekly basis by way of structured reports and informal meetings outlining achievements/issues
- understand and respond appropriately to internal and external client needs
