Job Overview:

We are looking for a

Software Engineer

to join our

Information Management and Platform Technologies Development

team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in software development, testing, and secure systems, especially within the

oil & gas drilling domain

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute

test strategies

for automated regression testing. Assist with

secure architecture reviews

and security compliance checks. Ensure all identified

security vulnerabilities

are mitigated. Document software bugs, errors, and technical issues. Contribute to software development and testing projects of moderate complexity. Support

database upgrades, installations, and schema changes

.

Qualifications:

Degree in Computer Science / Engineering

(Master's preferred). Expertise in

Petroleum Engineering

with a strong understanding of

drilling

domain. Strong background in

project design, data analysis

, and technical problem-solving.

Desired Skills:

Solid understanding of

Object-Oriented Design

principles. Self-motivated with excellent

problem-solving

and

communication skills

. Experience working in

Agile development environments

. Strong collaboration and team skills.

Technical Skills (Preferred):

Automation Tools:

Cypress, Postman/Newman, JMeter, Jasmine, Selenium.

Languages/Scripting:

JavaScript, Shell/Bash.

Testing Tools:

TFS, Azure DevOps.

Databases:

SQL Server, PostgreSQL (preferred).

CI/CD & Build Tools:

Maven, Jenkins, Ansible, Containerization.

OS:

Windows and Linux.

Cloud Platforms:

Azure, AWS.

Location:

Bangalore, Karnataka, India

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ?700,000.00 - ?1,200,000.00 per year
