Overview of the role:
We are expanding our data capability across the organization and need experienced quality engineer to help deliver the new quality and processes across the tribe, while supporting the deliver of the Data and Analytics tribe.
We are looking for an Automation Engineer in Test to join our Data & Analytics tribe. You will help test and develop Integration layer changes to the data and analytics team.
Reporting directly to the Test Manager and working within the data tribe, you will be responsible for ensuring that the stories are delivered in a quality manner. You will be building a quality product within the Data & Analytics tribe. You will be joining at a time of significant change for the Data & Analytics tribe, we need excellent QA engineers within the team to ensure we deliver the teams, and the organisations ambitions.
Why we need you?
As an Automation Engineer, you will join one of our small agile teams, consisting of SEIT, DevOps Engineers and Data Engineers. Youll be working closely with the engineers in the team designing, building and maintaining our data and reporting, using industry-leading technologies.

Your experience:
Comprehensive test analysis skills
3-6 years of shown experience in functional and automation testing
In-depth experience in developing and maintaining automated tests
Agile ways of working

Pragmatic with a strong understanding of effort versus business value
Collaborative teammate
Problem solver with an aim to understand whats under the hood.
Key Technologies:
API testing: REST APIs, Rest Assured (POSTMAN/Groovy scripting)
Test Frameworks: BDD, Hybrid
Testing Skills: Database Testing, ETL Testing, Big Data Testing, API validations
Coding Languages: Any coding language- Java(preferred), SQL
CI/CD - Jenkins / GitHub Actions
Source Control System: Git, BitBucket
Test Management Tools: JIRA (preferred),XRAY
Infrastructure - AWS, Data Bricks
Stream: AWS Kinesis, Apache Kafka and Amazon MSK
Direct Query: AWS Athena, S3, Presto
File-based push: FTP
Storage - S3, DynamoDB, SQL
Application Monitoring - Prometheus / Alert Manager / Grafana Loki
