Automation Engineer Hyperworks Imaging is a cutting-edge technology company based out of Bengaluru, India since 2016. We also support their needs for strong technical professionals to help build and maintain their proprietary platforms. The following position is for our client working at the intersection of alternative assets, and precious metals. It is a full time position to support teams in the US and requires immediate joining. Location: India Experience Level: 4+ years Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and proficient Test Automation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for automating manual regression testing suites, ensuring efficiency and reliability in our testing processes. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and automate a comprehensive regression test suite using Cypress.
• Leverage TypeScript and Cypress expertise to design robust, maintainable, and scalable automated test scripts.
• Execute automated test suites, analyze results, and identify any defects or regressions.
• Ensure alignment of automated test scripts with best practices and code standards within our repository.
• Document all automation processes, test plans, and results for future reference and knowledge sharing within the team.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated tests into the continuous integration and deployment pipeline.
• Actively seek and incorporate feedback to enhance testing processes and outcomes.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in test automation and continuously explore new tools and methodologies to improve efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Cypress and TypeScript for test automation.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in software testing with a focus on test automation.
• Demonstrated experience in aligning test code with established best practices.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA processes.
• Ability to translate project requirements into actionable test automation tasks with minimal guidance.
• Experience with continuous integration and deployment tools.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with additional test automation tools and frameworks.
• Experience in working within an Agile/Scrum development process.
• Understanding of version control systems like Git.
• Knowledge of web technologies and standards.
