We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer with strong expertise in
Aveva Engineering software
to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have a solid engineering background, hands-on experience in automation systems, and the ability to deliver high-quality engineering deliverables using Aveva Engineering tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, configure, and optimize automation processes and engineering workflows.
Work extensively with Aveva Engineering softwarefor project execution, data management, and integration with other Aveva tools.
Prepare and maintain engineering deliverables such as datasheets, specifications, and equipment lists within Aveva Engineering.
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams (Process, Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechanical, etc.).
Ensure engineering data consistency and compliance with project standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve automation-related technical issues within Aveva Engineering.
Support digital transformation initiatives, including engineering data management and automation of workflows.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Automation, Instrumentation, Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline.
Minimum 3-6 years of experience in engineering automation or related field.* Hands-on experience with Aveva Engineering software (mandatory).* Knowledge of other Aveva tools (e.g., Aveva Diagrams, E3D, Aveva Instrumentation) is an added advantage.
Strong understanding of engineering workflows and data integration.
Good problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or EPC projects.
Familiarity with industry codes and standards (ISA, IEC, ISO, etc.).
Prior exposure to engineering digitalization projects or smart plant environments.
