Job Description

Design, develop, and execute test cases

for both manual and automated testing.

Analyze requirements and specifications

to create detailed and comprehensive test plans.

Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing

to ensure software quality.

Develop and maintain automation scripts

using tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar frameworks.

Identify, document, and track defects

using bug-tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or Trello.

Collaborate with developers and product teams

to resolve issues and improve software performance.

Validate bug fixes

and ensure smooth software releases.

Conduct cross-browser and cross-platform testing

to ensure compatibility.

Prepare detailed test reports

and maintain proper documentation.

Ensure all testing activities align with project timelines and quality standards.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of software testing concepts

- SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle.

Experience in manual testing

- writing test cases, test scenarios, and executing test plans.

Hands-on experience with automation tools

- Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, JUnit, or similar.

Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language

(Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.) for automation.

Familiarity with version control tools

like Git or GitHub.

Understanding of API testing

using Postman or similar tools.

Basic knowledge of databases and SQL queries

for backend validation.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good communication and teamwork skills

for coordination with developers and QA leads.

Ability to work efficiently during day shifts

and manage multiple test cycles.
