Job Description

The Automatic Punching Machine Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining punching machines used in

printing and packaging production

. The role ensures that die-cutting, punching, and creasing work is carried out accurately, maintaining product quality and achieving daily production targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate

automatic punching/die-cutting machines

as per job specifications. Handle

paperboard, laminated sheets, and packaging materials

for punching and creasing. Read and interpret

job dockets, printing layouts, and cutting instructions

. Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments (speed, pressure, alignment). Conduct

quality checks

for registration, sharpness, cutting depth, and finishing accuracy. Minimize waste and ensure

optimum material utilization

. Maintain cleanliness and proper upkeep of machine and work area. Record production details including output, downtime, and defects. Adhere to

safety standards

and ensure smooth workflow during shifts. Coordinate with the

maintenance team

in case of breakdowns.

Qualifications & Skills:

Minimum

SSLC / ITI / Diploma

in Printing, Mechanical, or related field.

2-3 years of experience

in operating punching/die-cutting machines in a

printing & packaging unit

(preferred). Knowledge of

printing materials, board GSM, die-cutting, embossing, and creasing techniques

. Ability to read job cards and follow technical instructions. Good troubleshooting and mechanical adjustment skills. Strong focus on

quality, speed, and accuracy

. Willingness to work in

rotational shifts

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
