Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Conduct training sessions on

AutoCAD (2D & 3D)

and

SolidWorks (Part Modeling, Assembly, Drafting, and Simulation modules)

. Teach

engineering drawings, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), drafting standards (ANSI, ISO, ASME, etc.)

. Provide

hands-on practice and project-based training

to ensure practical understanding. Develop structured

lesson plans, assignments, and learning materials

. Guide students in applying CAD tools to

real-world mechanical design problems

. Assess student progress through

tests, projects, and practical evaluations

. Stay updated with

industry standards, CAD software updates, and design practices

. Mentor and motivate students to build strong technical and professional skills.

Requirements

Proficiency in

AutoCAD Mechanical

and

SolidWorks

(2D drafting, 3D modeling, assemblies, and simulations). Strong understanding of

mechanical design principles, engineering drawings, manufacturing processes, and material selection

. Prior experience in

training/teaching

OR working in a

mechanical design role

. Excellent

communication and presentation skills

. Ability to

explain technical concepts clearly and effectively

.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree / Diploma

in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Certification in AutoCAD or SolidWorks

is an added advantage. Minimum

1-3 years of experience

in design, drafting, or training.
