Qualification:

+ Specialized certification in AutoCAD.
+ Additional CAD tool knowledge (SolidWorks, CATIA, Inventor, etc.) and coursework in engineering drawing, manufacturing processes, and geometric dimensioning & tolerancing (GD&T).
+ Mechanical Diploma / ITI Draftsman (Mechanical)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Creation of Manufacturing Drawings

Prepare precise and detailed 2D/3D technical drawings using AutoCAD, strictly adhering to manufacturing and engineering standards. Convert conceptual designs, sketches, or engineering instructions into manufacturing-ready drawings.

2. Compliance and Quality Assurance

Ensure that all drawings meet industry norms, regulatory standards, and project-specific requirements. Conduct thorough self-checks for design accuracy, dimensional correctness, and completeness before submission.

3. Revision and Version Control

Incorporate feedback from engineering and production teams to revise and update drawings as needed. Maintain accurate records of drawing revisions and ensure all documentation is up to date.

4. Collaboration and Communication

Work closely with engineering, production, and quality teams to understand requirements and resolve design-related queries efficiently. Participate in design reviews and integrate multidisciplinary feedback into final manufacturing drawings.

5. Timely Delivery

Ensure manufacturing drawings are delivered within project timelines to avoid delays in production.

6. Continuous Improvement

Stay updated with the latest AutoCAD tools, drafting techniques, and manufacturing trends to improve drawing efficiency and accuracy. Participate in relevant training sessions and implement best practices for continual skills advancement.
