Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and modify

3D models

using Fusion 360 for product designs and mechanical components Create

2D technical drawings and layouts

in AutoCAD for documentation and manufacturing Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and fabricators to translate ideas into manufacturable designs Generate detailed fabrication drawings, BOMs, and assembly instructions Prepare output files for CNC, laser cutting, 3D printing, or sheet metal processes Manage and organize design files with proper version control and file naming conventions Perform basic simulations, motion studies, or rendering in Fusion 360 as needed Ensure designs comply with engineering standards, tolerances, and DFM/DFA practices

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proficient in

Autodesk Fusion 360

(parametric modeling, assemblies, renderings, drawings) Strong command of

AutoCAD

for 2D drafting and layout creation Knowledge of mechanical design principles, tolerances, and standard drawing practices Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, sketches, and specifications Experience creating production-ready drawings and 3D models Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Strong communication and collaboration abilities
