Job Description

The Civil Infrastructure AutoCAD Engineer is responsible for preparing accurate and detailed 2D drawings for civil and infrastructure projects. The role involves supporting design teams by developing layouts, plans, profiles, and construction drawings in accordance with project requirements, applicable codes, and client standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare detailed AutoCAD drawings for civil and infrastructure works Develop drawings for roads, drainage, utilities, and site development Produce plans, profiles, sections, and cross-sections Draft general arrangement, alignment, and layout drawings Update drawings based on design changes and site inputs Coordinate with civil designers, engineers, and project teams Ensure drawings comply with applicable standards and specifications Maintain drawing registers and document control Support construction teams with drawing clarifications Prepare as-built drawings based on site modifications
SOFTWARE AND TOOLS

AutoCAD (2D drafting) Basic knowledge of Civil 3D is an advantage MS Office for documentation and coordination
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering 2 to 5 years of experience in civil or infrastructure drafting Strong proficiency in AutoCAD for infrastructure projects Knowledge of civil design standards and practices Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
DESIRED SKILLS

Experience in roads, drainage, and utility infrastructure Familiarity with drawings for water supply and sewer networks Understanding of construction practices and site coordination Attention to detail and drawing accuracy Good communication and coordination skills
WORK ENVIRONMENT

Office-based design and drafting role Coordination with multidisciplinary engineering teams Support to site and construction activities as required
