Job Description

Responsibilities:

Create, modify, and update detailed technical drawings and plans using AutoCAD. Work from sketches, specifications, and verbal instructions provided by senior designers and engineers. Ensure all drawings adhere to company and industry standards and specifications. Collaborate with project teams to review and revise drawings as needed throughout the project lifecycle. Maintain an organized and accessible database of all project drawings and files. Assist in the creation of design presentations, material selections, and project documentation. Perform basic design calculations and assist in material quantity take-offs. Review and verify drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project requirements. Stay up-to-date with the latest AutoCAD software features and industry trends. May be required to visit project sites to take measurements and verify existing conditions.

Qualifications:

Diploma or ITI is preferred. Proven experience as an AutoCAD Drafter or a similar role. High proficiency in AutoCAD software is a must. Knowledge of other design software (e.g., SolidWorks, Solid Edge ) is a plus. Strong understanding of drafting principles, conventions, and standards.
