Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented

AutoCAD Draughtsman/Woman

to join our elevator engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed 2D and 3D drawings, layout plans, and technical documentation for elevator systems, including mechanical and structural components. The role requires close coordination with engineers, project managers, and site teams to ensure designs meet client requirements, safety standards, and company specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and revise

AutoCAD drawings

for elevator installations, including layout, shaft details, machine rooms, and structural interfaces. Develop

shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and as-built drawings

for approval and construction. Coordinate with engineers and project managers to ensure drawings align with

technical specifications and architectural requirements

. Perform

site measurements

and verify dimensions for accurate drawing preparation. Maintain a drawing database and ensure

version control and proper documentation

. Assist in the

design of customized elevator solutions

based on client specifications. Ensure all drawings comply with

relevant standards, safety codes, and company policies

. Support project teams with

technical input and design clarifications

during installation.

Qualifications and Skills:

Diploma or Degree in

Mechanical / Electrical / Civil Engineering

or related field. Minimum

2-5 years of experience

as an AutoCAD Draughtsman, preferably in the

elevator or construction industry

. Strong proficiency in

AutoCAD (2D & 3D)

; knowledge of

Revit or SolidWorks

is an advantage. Good understanding of

elevator components, shaft layouts, and structural interfaces

. Ability to read and interpret

architectural and structural drawings

. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
