Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced AutoCAD Engineer to create, modify, and manage technical drawings and plans using AutoCAD software. The ideal candidate will work closely with project teams to develop accurate 2D and/or 3D design drafts and ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Create detailed 2D/3D drawings and layouts using AutoCAD for various engineering projects. Interpret architectural, structural, mechanical, or electrical specifications and drawings. Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to refine design concepts. Ensure accuracy and compliance with established standards and company guidelines. Revise drawings based on feedback and technical specifications. Maintain project documentation and drawing records. Assist in the development of design standards and templates. Conduct site visits and surveys when required for design verification. Provide support during the project planning and execution phases.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering, Drafting, or a related field. Proficient in AutoCAD (2D and/or 3D); knowledge of additional software such as Revit, SolidWorks, or Civil 3D is a plus. Proven experience in CAD drafting or design engineering (typically 2+ years). Strong understanding of technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints. Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in [civil/mechanical/electrical/architectural] design. Familiarity with project management and construction processes. Knowledge of local and international design standards and codes. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Work Environment:

Office-based role with occasional site visits. May require extended hours to meet project deadlines.
