Job Description

Drafting & Design

Prepare architectural drawings including floor plans, elevations, sections, site plans, and interior layouts. Produce civil engineering drawings such as structural layouts, foundation plans, grading plans, drainage layouts, and road alignments. Convert conceptual sketches, site data, and engineer/architect inputs into accurate AutoCAD drawings. Develop detailed working drawings for construction, including joinery details, staircase details, door/window schedules, and finishing plans.
2. Technical Documentation

Maintain and update drawing sets, revision histories, and project documentation. Prepare construction drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings based on site changes. Ensure all drawings adhere to local building codes, architectural standards, and company drafting guidelines.
3. Coordination with Project Team

Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, MEP teams, and site supervisors to understand project requirements. Participate in design and coordination meetings to capture updates or design changes. Communicate discrepancies, clashes, or missing information to the design team for resolution.
4. Quality Assurance

Check drawings for dimensional accuracy, consistency, scale correctness, and clarity. Ensure all drawings meet project specifications and detail requirements before submission. Conduct self-review and peer review to ensure the highest drafting accuracy.
5. Site & Project Support

Update drawings based on site measurements, consultant comments, and change orders. Provide detailed drawings needed for site execution, including reinforcement detailing (if required). Support site engineers by clarifying drawing details, dimensions, and notes when needed.
6. File Management & Software Proficiency

Organize and maintain CAD files, naming conventions, and project folder structures. Use AutoCAD, and if required, supporting tools like SketchUp, Revit, Photoshop, and MS Office. Follow company CAD standards and assist in creating/maintaining drafting templates.
7. Compliance & Continuous Improvement

Ensure designs follow building regulations, municipal standards, and safety guidelines. Suggest improvements in drafting methods to increase productivity and accuracy. Stay updated on new CAD technologies and architectural/civil drafting practices.

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?20,000.00 per month
