Job Summary

We are hiring an experienced

AutoCAD Draughtsman

to prepare and develop

2D CAD drawings

for

laser cutting

and

CNC bending

services. The role involves working closely with the production team to deliver accurate sheet metal designs and ensure smooth fabrication.

Responsibilities:

Create and modify 2D AutoCAD drawings for sheet metal fabrication. Design for

laser cutting, CNC bending, and metal forming

. Ensure drawings are accurate, production-ready, and cost-effective. Coordinate with production and quality teams to resolve design issues. Maintain and update drawing records.

Requirements:

Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related).

1-4 years experience

in AutoCAD drafting for sheet metal fabrication. Strong skills in

AutoCAD 2D

(3D knowledge a plus). Knowledge of

sheet metal design, tolerances, and fabrication processes

. Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred:

Experience with

SolidWorks / other CAD software

. Basic Understanding of nesting for laser cutting. Basic CNC machine knowledge.
