We are looking for a skilled
Draughtsman
to join our design and production team to prepare accurate and detailed technical drawings for furniture, store fixtures, and interior layouts.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed
2D and 3D drawings
for furniture, fixtures, and interior layouts using CAD software.
Develop
shop drawings
,
assembly drawings
, and
cutting lists
for production.
Interpret
architectural plans, sketches, and concepts
into accurate technical drawings.
Work closely with the
design
,
production
, and
project
teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.
Maintain and update drawing files, drawing registers, and revisions as per project requirements.
Ensure drawings comply with company standards, material specifications, and client requirements.
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for hardware, fittings, and material specifications when required.
Conduct site measurements and prepare as-built drawings when necessary.
Required Skills & Competencies:
Proficient in
AutoCAD
,
SketchUp
, and other design/drafting software (e.g., Autocad).
Strong understanding of
furniture manufacturing processes
, materials (wood, metal, glass, acrylic, etc.), and hardware.
Ability to read and interpret
architectural and interior drawings
.
Detail-oriented with excellent
accuracy
and
technical understanding
.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Time management and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
