Key Responsibilities:
Develop 2D and 3D designs using AutoCAD for sheet metal components ,assemblies and Product design.
Prepare accurate and detailed engineering drawings and bill of materials (BOM).
Work closely with the production and fabrication teams to ensure designs are feasible and efficient for manufacturing.
Modify existing designs to improve functionality, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness.
Ensure all designs comply with relevant standards and customer requirements.
Participate in design reviews and provide technical input.
Maintain accurate documentation and design records.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 2.5 years of experience in Sheet Metal Design and AutoCAD.
Proficient in AutoCAD; experience with other CAD software (like SolidWorks or Inventor) is a plus.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, tolerances, and material properties related to sheet metal.
