Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented

Draftsman/Draftswoman

with proven experience in

architectural drawing and design documentation

. The ideal candidate will translate conceptual designs into precise technical drawings, ensuring accuracy, compliance with standards, and seamless coordination with architects, engineers, and construction teams.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed

architectural drawings, layouts, and plans

using CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent). Convert

conceptual sketches

into accurate technical drawings for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Ensure drawings comply with

building codes, regulations, and industry standards

. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to refine designs and resolve discrepancies. Maintain and update drawing records, revisions, and documentation throughout project lifecycle. Assist in preparing

working drawings, construction details, and presentation sheets

. Conduct site visits when required to gather measurements and verify design accuracy.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Diploma/Degree in

Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Drafting

. Proven experience (2-5 years) in

architectural drafting

. Proficiency in

AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and MS Office

. Strong knowledge of

construction techniques, materials, and detailing

. Ability to interpret architectural concepts and convert them into precise technical drawings. Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management. Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Attributes

Experience in

real estate, residential, or commercial projects

. Knowledge of

3D visualization tools

for presentation purposes. Familiarity with

local building codes and compliance standards

. Creative problem-solving mindset with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
