Job Summary

: We are looking for a talented 2D Draftsman to join our interior design team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed floor plans, elevations, and design drawings that support our interior design projects. A strong understanding of design principles and proficiency in drafting software are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Create accurate 2D drawings and layouts for residential and commercial interior design projects. Collaborate with interior designers to translate design concepts into technical drawings. Develop and revise floor plans, furniture layouts, and elevation drawings. Ensure drawings comply with building codes, regulations, and design standards. Prepare presentation materials and visual aids for client meetings. Maintain organized project documentation and file management. Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and vendors.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a 2D Draftsman, preferably in the interior design field. Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software (e.g., SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite). Strong understanding of interior design principles, space planning, and materials. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drafting. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Education

:

Associate's degree in Interior Design, Drafting, Architecture, or related field preferred. Relevant certifications in interior design or drafting are a plus.
