Job Description

Responsibilities of candidate include:

Create Technical Drawings:

Produce precise 2D and 3D technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints for products, buildings, or equipment.

Use AutoCAD Software:

Operate AutoCAD and other CAD software for design and modeling.

Collaborate with Design Teams:

Work with architects, engineers, and other team members to understand design requirements and specifications.

Interpret and Refine Designs:

Review rough sketches and design ideas, translating them into detailed drawings.

Update and Revise Drawings:

Modify existing drawings based on project changes, client feedback, and updated requirements.

Ensure Standards Compliance:

Verify that all drawings adhere to industry codes, regulations, and project guidelines.

Maintain Project Documentation:

Organize, manage, and maintain drawing files, project documentation, and revisions.

Quality Control:

Conduct quality checks to ensure drawings are accurate, efficient, and meet all specifications.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

Proficiency in AutoCAD:

Expertise in using AutoCAD software for 2D and 3D modeling.

Understanding of Drafting Principles:

Strong knowledge of drafting standards, symbols, and best practices.

Technical Knowledge:

Ability to interpret technical specifications, measurements, and calculations.

Collaboration Skills:

Effective communication and teamwork skills to work with various professionals.

Attention to Detail:

Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in drawings and designs.

Education:

Often requires a diploma or degree in drafting, engineering, architecture.
