Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented

Draftsman

to create precise technical drawings and plans using

Computer-Aided Design (CAD)

software. The ideal candidate will work closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to produce accurate 2D and 3D designs for various projects.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed technical drawings, layouts, and plans using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit). Interpret design concepts, sketches, and specifications provided by engineers or architects. Ensure drawings comply with industry standards, project requirements, and design specifications. Revise drawings based on feedback or design changes. Maintain organized drawing files and documentation for project records. Coordinate with team members to ensure timely delivery of drawings and design updates. Perform basic design calculations and assist in developing technical details when required. Stay updated with CAD software developments and drafting best practices.

Qualifications and Skills

Diploma or Degree in

Drafting, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field

. Proven experience as a Draftsman or CAD Technician. Proficiency in

AutoCAD

,

SolidWorks

, or other relevant CAD tools. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in technical work. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints. Good communication and teamwork skills. Time management and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in [specific industry, e.g., civil, mechanical, or electrical drafting]. Knowledge of 3D modeling and rendering software. Familiarity with design standards and codes relevant to the field.
