Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Drafter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drafting and design, utilizing various software tools to create detailed drawings and schematics for construction and mechanical projects. This role requires a keen eye for detail, creativity, and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and project managers.

Duties

Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SolidWorks. Develop schematics and layouts for mechanical designs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards. Collaborate with engineers to understand project requirements and translate them into technical drawings. Utilize SketchUp, NavisWorks, Civil 3D, and MicroStation for project visualization and design modifications. Review and revise drawings based on feedback from project stakeholders. Maintain organized documentation of all drafts and revisions throughout the project lifecycle. Assist in the preparation of construction documents and specifications as needed.

Requirements

Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, SketchUp, NavisWorks, Civil 3D, and MicroStation. Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and construction processes. Experience in drafting schematics and technical drawings with attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing individual tasks effectively. Familiarity with 2D animation techniques is a plus but not required. Excellent communication skills to convey design concepts clearly to team members and clients.
