Role summary:

We are hiring a skilled

AutoCAD Drafter

to develop precise 2D shop, fabrication, and erection drawings for structural steel projects. The ideal candidate will ensure drawings align with design intent, fabrication standards, and international codes.

Qualifications

B.E. Civil

with

minimum 2 years

experience

Diploma in Civil Engineering

with

minimum 5 years

experience

Responsibilities & Required Skills

Draft detailed 2D AutoCAD drawings from sketches/specs Prepare shop, fabrication, and erection drawings Collaborate with engineers and project managers Revise drawings based on redlines, RFIs, and feedback Resolve drawing-related queries with fabrication/site teams

Maintain organized drawing documentation Proficient in

AutoCAD (2D drafting)

Strong grasp of

steel connections, detailing, and fabrication

Ability to interpret

GA and structural drawings

Familiarity with

welding symbols, bolts, and material specifications

High attention to detail and drawing accuracy Effective communication for internal coordination Knowledge of

AISC, IS

, and other international standard
