Job Vacancy: AutoCAD Designer - Fire Hydrant System (with Estimation Skills)

We are looking for an experienced

AutoCAD Designer

specialized in

Fire Fighting Systems

(Hydrant & Sprinkler Systems) who can also handle

estimation and BOQ preparation

. The candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed drawings, system layouts, and cost estimates for projects in Pune and across Maharashtra.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare AutoCAD drawings for Fire Hydrant, Sprinkler, and Detection Systems as per NFPA/TAC/IS standards. Develop shop drawings, as-built drawings, schematic layouts, and installation details. Coordinate with project engineers and site teams for design finalization. Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ), material take-offs, and cost estimates. Assist in technical documentation for tenders and client submissions. Ensure compliance with local fire authority regulations and NBC/IS standards.

Requirements:

Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Fire & Safety Engineering or equivalent. Proficiency in

AutoCAD (2D/3D)

. 2-5 years of experience in

fire hydrant/sprinkler system design

. Knowledge of IS standards, NFPA codes, and Maharashtra fire norms. Strong skills in

estimation, costing, and BOQ preparation

. Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
