Job Title:

AutoCAD Drafter - Carpentry / Interior Production

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled AutoCAD Drafter with expertise in preparing detailed drawings, carpentry shop drawings, production drawings, and accurate cutting lists for interior projects. The candidate should have strong knowledge of materials (plywood, MDF, multiwood, laminates, etc.), joinery details, and the ability to translate design concepts into production-ready drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed

AutoCAD drawings

for carpentry, joinery, and interior fit-out works. Develop

shop drawings

and

production drawings

with precise dimensions and specifications. Create accurate

cutting lists

for carpentry and furniture production. Interpret architectural drawings and convert them into

production-level details

. Coordinate with the design, production, and site teams to ensure clarity and accuracy of drawings. Incorporate joinery details, hardware placement, and material specifications in drawings. Revise and update drawings based on feedback from engineers, designers, or production teams. Ensure drawings meet quality standards, project timelines, and company guidelines.

Requirements:

Diploma / Degree in Civil, Architecture, or related field.

2-5 years

experience as an AutoCAD Drafter in

interior fit-out / furniture / carpentry industry

. Strong knowledge of

AutoCAD

and familiarity with other drafting software is an advantage. Hands-on experience in preparing

cutting lists

for plywood, multiwood, MDF, and other materials. Understanding of

production processes

,

carpentry joinery techniques

, and

hardware fittings

. Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple drawings simultaneously. Good communication skills and teamwork ability.

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of

3D visualization software

(SketchUp, 3ds Max, etc.) is a plus. Familiarity with

site execution drawings

. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
