Position Overview

This role focuses on creating accurate and detailed 3D models and technical drawings using AutoCAD and related design tools. The person in this position supports engineers, project managers, and production teams by translating project requirements into clear, precise, and feasible design outputs.

Key Responsibilities

Develop 3D models, assemblies, and detailed drawings using AutoCAD (and other 3D design platforms as required). Interpret engineering sketches, specifications, and project briefs to produce accurate technical designs. Prepare fabrication drawings, layout plans, and component details with clarity and precision. Review and update existing drawings to reflect design changes, improvements, or corrections. Maintain drawing standards, documentation accuracy, and version control across all design files. Coordinate with engineering, production, and quality teams to resolve design queries. Support the preparation of BOQs, material lists, and technical documentation related to drawings. Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, project guidelines, and internal quality norms. Participate in project meetings to understand requirements, clarify technical points, and ensure alignment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in AutoCAD 2D and 3D drafting. Strong understanding of engineering drawings, tolerances, and drafting principles. Hands-on experience with 3D modeling tools (AutoCAD 3D; knowledge of SolidWorks, Revit, or similar tools is an advantage). Ability to interpret technical specifications and convert them into detailed designs. Strong attention to detail with a disciplined approach to documentation. Effective communication and coordination skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver within project timelines.

Preferred Experience

Experience in cleanroom design, HVAC systems Familiarity with manufacturing processes
