Requirements:

Proven experience

developing custom solutions for AutoCAD, including plug-ins, scripts, and automation tools.

Strong programming skills

in one or more of the following: AutoLISP, .NET (C# or VB.NET), VBA, or ObjectARX/C++. Experience with AutoCAD APIs (e.g., AutoCAD .NET API, COM API, or ObjectARX). Ability to design, develop, test, and deploy custom AutoCAD extensions or add-ons. Familiarity with source control, CI/CD pipelines, and work item tracking; experience with

Azure DevOps

is a plus. Solid understanding of software development best practices, debugging, and version compatibility for AutoCAD releases. Strong

problem-solving skills

and the ability to deliver clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain custom AutoCAD applications, plug-ins, or macros based on project requirements. Automate repetitive tasks and workflows within AutoCAD to improve efficiency. Collaborate with other developers, CAD designers, or project managers as needed. Ensure developed tools are compatible with specified AutoCAD versions and meet performance standards. Use version control and participate in code reviews where applicable.
