Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative
AutoCAD Designer
to join our design and production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate CAD drawings, production-ready layouts, and technical designs for signage, retail fixtures, display units, and branding materials.
Key Responsibilities
Create detailed 2D drawings and layouts using AutoCAD for signage, display units, retail fixtures, and branding projects.
Prepare production drawings, material specifications, and fabrication-ready files.
Work closely with the design, production, and installation teams to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
Modify and update existing drawings as per client feedback or project changes.
Review project requirements, take measurements (when required), and translate concepts into technical drawings.
Maintain organized drawing files and documentation for all projects.
Ensure all designs meet quality standards, accuracy, and company guidelines.
Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to clarify technical details.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Proven experience as an AutoCAD Designer/Draughtsman (preferably in signage, fabrication, interior, or retail branding).
Strong proficiency in
AutoCAD
(2D mandatory; 3D is an added advantage).
Understanding of materials such as ACP, MDF, acrylic, metals, and printing substrates.
Knowledge of fabrication processes, laser cutting, routing, and printing workflows preferred.
Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and architectural drawings.
Good visualization skills, attention to detail, and accuracy.
Time management and ability to handle multiple projects.
Education
Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Drafting, Civil Drafting, Interior Design, or related field.
