Job Description

Core Responsibilities:

Creating Technical Drawings:

Develop precise and accurate 2D and 3D technical drawings, blueprints, and models using AutoCAD software.

Collaboration:

Work closely with architects, engineers, and other project team members to understand project requirements and translate them into detailed drawings.

Design Interpretation:

Review and interpret architectural and engineering sketches, plans, and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance with design standards and regulations.

Design Updates:

Incorporate design changes and updates into drawings, ensuring all revisions are accurately reflected.

Documentation:

Maintain organized and accurate records of drawings, files, and project documentation.

Adherence to Standards:

Ensure drawings comply with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations.

Problem Solving:

Identify and resolve technical issues that arise during the drafting process.

Communication:

Effectively communicate technical information to team members and clients.
Skills and Qualifications:

Proficiency in AutoCAD:

Strong skills and experience using AutoCAD software and related CAD tools.

Technical Knowledge:

Understanding of architectural, engineering, and design principles.

Attention to Detail:

Ability to create accurate and precise drawings with a keen eye for detail.

Communication Skills:

Ability to effectively communicate with team members and clients.

Problem-Solving Skills:

Ability to identify and resolve technical issues that arise during the drafting process.

Time Management Skills:

Ability to manage time effectively and meet project deadlines.

Software Proficiency:

Familiarity with other relevant software, such as Revit or BIM software, is often a plus.
