Position Overview:

The AutoCAD Designer will be responsible for creating detailed 2D and 3D drawings and plans using AutoCAD software. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of drafting and design principles, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with engineers, architects, and other design professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD software based on project specifications and requirements. Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other design team members to ensure design accuracy and adherence to project standards. Review and revise drawings as needed based on feedback and project changes. Create and maintain accurate documentation for design projects, including drawing files, specifications, and design notes. Ensure compliance with industry standards, building codes, and company policies throughout the design process. Conduct design reviews and provide recommendations for improvements or adjustments. Assist in the preparation of project presentations and reports.

Qualifications:

Associate's degree or higher in Drafting, Design, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. Proven experience as an AutoCAD Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of completed projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD software (both 2D and 3D), with knowledge of other design software (e.g., Revit, SolidWorks) being a plus. Solid understanding of design principles, drafting techniques, and industry standards. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in design work. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.

Preferred Skills:

Certification in AutoCAD or other relevant design software. Experience with [specific industry tools or software relevant to the job]. Knowledge of building codes and regulations.
