Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Create accurate 2D/3D AutoCAD drawings for modular furniture including kitchens, wardrobes, office systems, and storage units. Develop technical drawings for manufacturing, including elevations, sections, and joinery details. Collaborate with design, production, and installation teams to ensure feasibility and adherence to manufacturing standards. Translate client requirements and concepts into functional, production-ready designs. Maintain and update a library of standard components, hardware, and design templates. Conduct site measurements and incorporate them into final drawings when necessary. Ensure drawings comply with safety, ergonomic, and aesthetic standards. Coordinate with procurement for hardware and material specifications. Support the design team with rendering, BOQs, and presentation drawings when needed.

Requirements:

Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Mechanical Drafting or a related field. Proficient in

AutoCAD

; knowledge of

SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit, or similar tools

is a plus. Minimum

2-4 years

of experience in modular furniture or related industries. Strong understanding of modular systems, joinery techniques, materials (plywood, MDF, laminates), and hardware (Hettich, Hafele, etc.). Ability to read and interpret architectural and interior design plans. Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Good communication and teamwork skills. Time management and ability to handle multiple projects under deadlines.
