Job Description

An AutoCAD designer uses AutoCAD software to create technical drawings and 3D models. They work with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure that drawings meet specifications and regulations.
Responsibilities
Update drawings based on feedback and project changes
Assist with project documentation and reports
Maintain a library of standard drawing templates
Write technical documents like material lists and cost estimates
Develop 3D video walkthroughs
Collaborate with other team members
Create detailed drawings, blueprints, and 3D models
Review and interpret project documents

Skills
Strong ability to use AutoCAD software
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to solve problems efficiently
Aptitude for mechanical design
Understanding of material properties, uses, machinability, and finishes
Excellent computer and file system skills
Education
Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Design, Project/Construction Management, or a related field
Two to three years of related professional experience
