Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled
AutoCAD Designer
to create detailed technical drawings and layouts that support our facility design and engineering projects in pharmaceutical and biotech environments. You will work closely with the cross-functional teams to produce accurate designs that comply with industry standards and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Produce precise 2D and 3D technical drawings
using AutoCAD software based on engineering concepts, design briefs, and field data.
Collaborate with the project teams
to ensure drawings align with project requirements and standards.
Interpret and incorporate feedback
from stakeholders to revise and improve design documents.
Maintain drawing accuracy and documentation
, including version control, file organisation, and revision history.
Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and industry standards
, including cleanroom design and pharmaceutical facility guidelines where applicable.
Support project documentation
, layouts, and reports for design reviews, presentations, and regulatory submissions.
Assist in site visits
to verify dimensions, gather measurements, and translate field data into drawings.
Stay updated on CAD best practices
and recommend improvements to drafting processes and standards.
Required Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Civil/Pharmaceutical), Architecture, Industrial Design, or
a related technical discipline.
Experience:
Proven experience (preferably 2-5+ years) as an
AutoCAD Designer
.
Experience in design work related to industrial facilities, manufacturing plants, or process-oriented environments is a plus.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in
AutoCAD
(2D & 3D).
Knowledge of additional CAD software is advantageous.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
Strong understanding of drafting principles, dimensioning, scale, and technical detailing.
