We are seeking a skilled AutoCAD Customization Engineer with a strong background in Mechanical or Civil Engineering and hands-on experience in .NET technology. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and customizing AutoCAD applications and tools, focusing on geometry, mathematics, and advanced coding techniques to automate engineering drawing and design processes.
This role requires expertise in memory management, data structures, and strong problem-solving skills to create efficient and scalable solutions within the AutoCAD environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and customize AutoCAD tools and applications using .NET technology (C#, VB.NET).
Automate drawing creation, dimensioning, and data management workflows within AutoCAD, focusing on precision and performance.
Work with engineering teams to understand requirements and translate them into AutoCAD customization features.
Create complex geometries, mathematical models, and algorithms for specialized AutoCAD functionalities.
Optimize memory usage and ensure smooth performance, handling large datasets and geometrical calculations efficiently.
Debug, test, and deploy AutoCAD customizations, ensuring high-quality and error-free performance.
Utilize advanced data structures and algorithms to improve customization capabilities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of customizations with other design and CAD systems.
Provide technical support and maintenance for existing AutoCAD customizations.
Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree (B.Tech/BE) in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
1-2 years of experience working with AutoCAD customization using .NET technologies (C#, VB.NET).
Strong knowledge of geometry, mathematics, and CAD automation.
Expertise in memory management, performance optimization, and data structure design.
Solid experience with AutoCAD API and developing tools for automated drawing and design.
Familiarity with engineering drawing standards and technical specifications.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work on complex technical challenges.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working on large-scale engineering projects involving AutoCAD.
Knowledge of AutoCAD Plant 3D, AutoCAD Mechanical, or similar.
Familiarity with ObjectARX or AutoCAD .NET API for advanced customization.
Experience in handling large datasets and optimizing AutoCAD performance.
