Job Description

Diagnose and repair automotive electrical systems Apply knowledge of automotive electronics, engines, and chassis Replace and Install electrical components, such as cutouts, harness, relays, fuses, and circuit breakers, horns, lights, and turn signals, wire gauges, gauges, sensors, alternators, starter motors etc Perform maintenance on batteries and charging systems Inspect and test electrical connections and components Insulate and wire electrical panels and engine compartment Perform engine and driveline repairs Analyze and interpret technical diagrams Prepare estimates for costs and labor hours Propose repairs based on vehicle electrical systems diagnosis Read blueprints and other process drawings Use digital diagnostic equipment to identify issues Solder and crimp electrical wiring.
