Key Responsibilities

Experienced Mechanical Engineer with Auto CAD drafting, Detail engineering and Data management skills. Experience in managing Master Document Register, Record book, Revision history etc.

Developed and implemented custom LISP routines to automate repetitive drafting and design tasks, reducing project completion times by up to 20 to 30%. Created and maintained a company-wide library of LISP applications and dynamic blocks, ensuring consistent application of CAD standards across all projects. Integrated custom LISP functions with existing AutoCAD features, such as data extraction, to automatically generate Bills of Materials (BOMs) from drawings. Integrated AutoLISP solutions with external applications, including importing data from Excel spreadsheets and linking to external databases for dynamic attribute updates. Provided technical support and training to CAD users on the proper use of LISP routines and customized tools, improving overall team productivity. Led the design, development, and deployment of complex automation solutions using AutoLISP, VBA, and the AutoCAD .NET API to streamline multi-departmental workflows. Leveraged Visual LISP's debugging tools to troubleshoot and optimize existing routines, significantly improving performance and stability. Collaborated with engineering and project management teams to define requirements and translate complex design challenges into effective, automated CAD solutions. Pioneered process improvements for CAD data management, file-handling, and batch processing, ensuring data integrity and consistency across projects.
