The Legal/ Authorized Representative (AR) plays a pivotal role in representing the Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) in both legal and operational capacities. This position demands a proactive and responsible individual capable of maintaining regulatory compliance, managing client and partner relationships, and ensuring seamless execution of core NBFC functions including loan origination, documentation, collections, and customer service.

As an AR, you will leverage your foundational knowledge of banking and NBFC operations to grow into a leadership role, ensuring that all local operations are conducted ethically, efficiently, and in accordance with applicable laws and NBFC policies.

Key Responsibilities:



Legal & Regulatory Representation:

Act as the official liaison between the NBFC and regulatory authorities, ensuring all local operations comply with RBI and other applicable guidelines. Represent the company in legal matters and assist in responding to notices, audits, or other regulatory requirements. Maintain updated knowledge of NBFC laws, financial regulations, and compliance frameworks.

Operational Oversight:

Oversee and manage loan origination activities, ensuring proper client verification, due diligence, and adherence to credit risk policies. Ensure accurate and timely execution of loan documentation, in line with internal policies and regulatory standards. Monitor collections, follow up on repayments, and support recovery processes in coordination with internal teams.

Customer Service & Relationship Management:

Serve as the local point of contact for clients, addressing their queries and resolving issues promptly and professionally. Foster positive relationships with customers, vendors, and strategic partners to support business growth and maintain the company's reputation.

Administrative Duties:

Maintain clear records of all transactions, interactions, and compliance documents. Assist in internal audits, reporting, and periodic reviews required by the compliance or operations teams. Support training, onboarding, and upskilling initiatives for local teams, where applicable.

Qualifications & Requirements:



Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Law, Business Administration, or a related field. Prior experience in banking, NBFCs, or a financial services environment is preferred. Basic understanding of financial accounting and legal processes relevant to the NBFC sector. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and a high degree of integrity. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions within prescribed guidelines.

Preferred Skills:



Familiarity with RBI regulations and NBFC compliance procedures. Exposure to loan management systems or digital lending platforms. Fluency in Hindi, along with English proficiency.
