Job Description

Key Requirements:

Proven experience (3+ years) as a bookkeeper, with a strong understanding of Australian accounting standards and regulations.

In-depth knowledge of Australian taxation, BAS, and GST compliance.

Hands-on experience with accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks (Xero preferred).

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting tools.

Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients effectively.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

A degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.

Certification in bookkeeping or accounting (e.g., CPA, CA) is a plus.
