Auditor

to manage and oversee accounts, ensure compliance with statutory requirements, and provide financial accuracy for our organization. The Auditor will be responsible for verifying financial records, preparing audit reports, and advising on cost reduction, risk management, and internal control improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Examine, verify, and audit financial statements, ledgers, and supporting documents. Ensure compliance with Indian Accounting Standards, Income Tax Act, GST, and other statutory regulations. Review and monitor day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting processes. Conduct internal audits to assess financial risks, fraud detection, and process gaps. Prepare detailed audit reports highlighting discrepancies, compliance issues, and recommendations. Assist management in budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis. Liaise with Chartered Accountants, tax consultants, and statutory auditors. Stay updated on Tamil Nadu state tax rules and central government financial regulations.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in

Commerce / Accounting / Finance

(M.Com, CA Inter, or ICWA preferred). Proven experience as an

Auditor / Accountant

(2-5 years preferred). Strong knowledge of

Tally ERP / Zoho Books / SAP or other accounting software

. Familiarity with

Income Tax, GST, PF, ESI, and ROC filings

. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to handle confidential information with integrity. Good communication skills in Tamil and English (written & spoken).

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in managing finances in an export-driven business. Familiarity with trade agreements, government incentives, and banking procedures. Knowledge of supply chain financial management.
